I was hired by the City of Steinbach to take photos and shoot some video of the fireworks at the new soccer park location. I have put the still pics and video together for you to enjoy.

Today was the very first pet walkathon in Steinbach to raise money for the new building that is being proposed for construction in Steinbach. My wife, Lisa, is the co-founder of the SHS and here are a few pictures that were taken of the days events. Adi Leowen and myself were also doing pet portraits for only $5 to help raise funds and some of those pictures are here too. The first 3 dogs are shelter dogs and are available for adoption.

Yesterday evening I had the privilege of being a part of our church’s kids carnival. I had a photo booth set up with a whole bunch of props like black, white and pink boas, Hawiian-style leis, grass skirts, hats etc. provided by the church. It was a blast! The kids were great and made it that much more fun and entertaining with their goofiness.
This evening, my wife and I went out to the Brass Lantern for their Flavours Of The World finale. It was amazing! The entertainers were talented and engaging (except for the part when I was chosen to be one ot them.), the staff were friendly and hospitable and the food was spectacular! We had a wonderful time and I even got to learn and preform an african dance. When we planned for dinner and a show, I hadn’t planned to be the show, but it was fun anyway.
I had a great Easter weekend. I hope all of you did as well. We had a family gathing on Friday and another one on Sunday. I was the photographer for the 3 Saturday services at church, which was really great!
Just a note to all you bride-to-bes, I am currently working on my wedding prices, so remember to come back to check them out.
Interesting story:
This evening, our 6 year old son Kailer (Ky-ler) refused to eat his supper. He was told that he was not allowed to leave his chair until he finished what was in his bowl. Needless to say, he stayed at the table so long that he fell asleep. The good news though, is that he did obey. LOL! We put him to bed and had a good laugh. Ah, the adventured in parenting – choose your battles.
