A long time ago (about 5 years) I did some playing around with shooting water drops. I thought it was time to do some playing again. It is just after midinght now and I am getting tired so I didn’t go all out with this one. I still have a bunch of water all over my kitchen to clean up but here is one of the ones I thiught was kinda neat.
Lisa and I went out to see the Winnepeg Symphony Orchestra. They were doing a tribute to Queen. It was a lot of fun and way better than I could have imagined. When we got home, I heard some noises coming from the kitchen area so I quickly grabbed my camera and caught a ghost on film! I think I scared him more than he scared me.
Do you love pumpkin pie? I sure do. I heard about this recipe for a pumpkin trifle and decided to try it out. Wow! It was amazing! It totally tasted like a pumpkin pie. So here is a pic of it and the recipe for those of you who want to try it too. But be warned, it makes a lot. I brought it to our gold medal hockey event and the 14 of us couldn’t finish the desert off.
1 spice caked (baked)
3 packages of instant butterscotch pudding (don’t make according to package instructions)
500mL whipping cream (frozen or home made)
2 1/2 cups milk
1 can pumpkin pie filling (if you get pure pumpkin, you have to add spices to the mix)
First of all, I found out that Superstore and Extra Foods doesn’t carry spice cake mixes so get that at Sobeys. Bake the spice cake according to the package instructions and allow to cool. Mix together the puddings, milk and pumpkin. Crumble the spices cake and sepparate into 3 parts. Put one part on the bottom of a large serving bowl. Then add a layer of the pudding, and add a layer of whipping cream. Repeat this layering process until everything is used up but make sure you save some crumbs to decorate the top of the trifle. Enjoy!
Hello there,
I’m Mike of Mike Rogal Photography. Welcome to my site, and soporifically to my blog. I’d like to start out by sharing a little bit about myself. Well, I’m a 30-something year-old husband and father. My wife Lisa and I have been married for 5 years and we have 2 amazing boys.
In my spare time I enjoy taking pictures, golfing, playing computer games, watching movies, going to the zoo and winning board games against my friends and family, just to name a few things. I enjoy trivia and being challenged to find creative solutions.
This is also my very first blog, so buckle up and welcome to my journey.
If you have questions, comments or suggestions, please send me an email. I would love to hear from you!
